Nutrition Support
Nutrition support is an essential aspect of cancer care for patients throughout their continuum of cancer treatment. Research has shown that over 70 percent of patients become nutritionally deficient during therapy. Diet is one of the first things that patients change as a result of a cancer diagnosis, but they don’t always make the appropriate changes. Once treatment begins, weight loss can be a challenge, so nutrition support is critical. Navigating the daunting amount of information regarding “the best diet for cancer” can be confusing and contradictory. We provide Patient Centered nutrition counseling, tailored specifically for your needs.
Tumor Genetics
In addition to our naturopathic resources we have a very comprehensive testing repertoire. You will have access to the latest next generation sequencing (NGS) technology and multi-platform, tumor biomarker analysis through to identify tumor-specific targets and provide diagnostics throughout the duration of your treatment. We are excited to offer testing for early stage breast cancer, testing for lung and prostate cancer, as well molecular diagnostics for disease recurrence or minimal residual disease (MRD). With our suite of tumor genetic testing, we can provide patient-specific recommendations throughout the continuum of your cancer care.
Integrative Oncology
Integrative Oncology is a bridge between natural medicine and conventional medicine. As naturopathic physicians we have the most specialized training of any profession in the use of natural medicine. We have expertise in the use of homeopathy, botanical medicine, physical medicine, hydrotherapy, Traditional Chinese Medicine and nutrition. But we also have training in all of the conventional modalities as well such as pharmacology, biochemistry, physiology, anatomy and the broader base of allopathic medicine. This makes us uniquely qualified to use natural therapies safely and effectively to support patients who are being treated for cancer.
IV Therapy
IV therapy can be used to support you throughout the continuum of your cancer care. IV therapy is especially helpful before and after surgery to help support tissue repair and speed up recovery. IV therapy is also helpful to support immune function and help manage side effects of conventional treatment. Specialty IVs are available for targeted therapy support and in some cases can boost the efficacy of specific conventional therapies. Currently only available at the Mesa location, coming to MKE in 2026.
